August 26, 2017

While we all know the typical Magellan’s cross, Fort San Pedro, Basilica de Sto. Ninyo and the likes, Cebu offers new and awesome tourist spots for the Yuppie traveler. Here are some of the awesome places my squad has visited on our brief stay there.

This article is in collaboration with my blogger friend Kissarine Maranon, visit her awesome blog right here My Manila Girl

Also referred to as the little Amsterdam of Cebu, Sirao Farm is an 8,000sqm uphill land privately owned by spouses Alfredo and Elena Sy-Chua.

The garden has a vast variety of floras which includes cockscomb, dahlia, aster, everlasting, yellow bell, lilies and petunia, to name a few. It is said that the color of the floras are intentionally red, and yellow to closely be associated with the Sto. Ninyo of Cebu.

Yuppies will enjoy the awesome view and instagramable features of Sirao Garden. Entrance fee here is 50php but it sure is worth it.

A temple made  out of Teodorico Adarna’s love and adoration for the love of his life, his wife, Leah Villa Albino-Adarna. built with gorgeous roman architecture this marvel of love is open to the public.

It is apparent how much love and care was put into building the Temple of Leah, from the carefully chosen fixtures and decor inside the temple to the tiles, fountain, and statues landscaped in the court yard, It’s truly a must visit in Cebu

Yuppie couples and friends alike will love the romantic ambiance Temple of Leah offers, it’s even a great place to propose or confess your love to someone *wink *wink. Entrance fee here is 50php.

10,000 Roses Cafe is a small cafe located at the end of the Cordova Tourism Center. This modern industrial cafe has a roof deck which offers an astonishing view of the ocean, and the skyline of Metro Cebu.

The main attraction of the cafe are the field of white roses on both sides of a concrete path leading to the main dining area. The flowers are made of plastic that lights up during night time

It has struck social media fame and is always existent  on every Yuppies' must visit lists. just be sure to visit during weekdays as the cafe can get over crowded during the weekends. Price range of their beverages ranges from 100-150php.

Inspired by Louvre Museum in Paris France, The Pyramid enjoys a stunning architecture that screams sophistication through and through. Located inside Cebu IT Park, it boasts of clean cut, modern industrial fixtures and furnitures that are truly instagramable

While it is considered as a bistro and not that of fine dinning, Pyramid is definitely for the sophisticated and cultured. You can enjoy dining while sipping wine of any kind or their signature cocktails like the Purple Haze and Lady Dragon. You are also allowed to enter their wine room and converse with the sommelier which talks very passionately regarding his craft. However their wines are not yet as extensive with the oldest wine originates in 2010

Yuppies from the Metro Manila will definitely love this place, as it gives everyone a one of kind experience without having to leave the state. Prices of food and beverage are at B class. (meaning they are quite expensive for a Yuppie but affordable nonetheless

Cebu I.T. Park, formerly known as Asiatown I.T. Park, is the flagship project of subsidiary Cebu Property Ventures and Development Corporation (CPVDC). It is a 27-hectare I.T. economic zone and a modern trading hub with global gateway. (Cebu IT Park Website)

Yuppies from the Metro can easily associate the Park as a Little, more eco-friendly, Makati. However what’s truly unique about CITP are their lifestyle and leisure centers. We recommend you visit not only the Pyramid, but also the Shaka Hawaiian Restaurant that offers delicious cuisine and a unique dining experience where you get to dine on a treehouse like balcony.
